Analytical Chemistry

Our analytical chemistry department consists of three specialised laboratories which focus on the screening and monitoring of workplace exposures and metals.

These include the following SANAS accredited laboratories: metals, industrial toxicology, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

Metals Laboratory

Our SANAS accredited metals laboratory provides testing of blood and urine samples for metal exposure in industrial and non-industrial settings.

Industrial toxicology laboratory

Our SANAS accredited industrial toxicology laboratory provides testing of blood and urine samples to enable biological monitoring in the workplace.

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) laboratory

Our SANAS accredited HPLC laboratory provides analysis for a number of endocrine tests including serotonin and catecholamines.as well as drugs of abuse testing.
